The keynote of Eliksir is foodpairing, which focuses on identifying which flavors go well together. Here in Eliksir we combine food with specially matched cocktails that complement one another. Eliksir in 2018 and 2019 was classified by Gault&Millau yellow guide as the 2nd best restaurant in Gdańsk, receiving 13.5 points and 2 caps. Eliksir is also one of the top cocktail bars awarded as the best Gastro Bar in Poland in the prestigious competition „Bar of the Year 2017”.
HEAD CHEF / OWNER
The person responsible for the quality and the taste in Eliksir is Paweł Wątor - the head chef as well as co-owner of the premises. Paweł gained his over 15 years of experience in gastronomy in Poland and also abroad e.g. working as a sous chef in such places as: Amber Room restaurant led by Wojciech Modest Amaro, Caprice Holdings group in London, Hilton hotel in Gdańsk and many more. Paweł is also a co-founder of thefood.pl - a company specializing in molecular cuisine and shows. He is also a co-author of two culinary books.
The heart of Eliksir is a 15-meters long bar where one can find over 300 different types of spirits. All our cocktails are based on our own recipes and 100% natural ingredients. In addition, in our menu you can also find a homemade tonic, energy drink or ginger beer. Vouge Poland has listed us as one of the 10 most beautiful cocktail bars in Poland.
This was a wonderful evening with 4 friends. The tasting menu was fantastic and varied in flavours. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it!
"Amazing experience! When We came We were greeted, they took our jackets and were really friendly. Ordered 7 plates with 7 cocktails to go along with the food. Really special cocktails and the waitors were in sync and told us everything about the food and drinks. Expensive, but an culinaric experience."
"How refreshing it is to have a drink-menu (instead of a wine-menu) to go with the 5 course-menu. The food was excellent (and i am rather picky with the food), most of the drinks had a little twist in them (loved it) and the service was the ABSOLUTE Best. Just loved the hole concept and definitely will return!"
